Mrs. Powell has been employed at NHC for 9 years. She was initially employed as an Accounts Clerk in the Accounts department. Mrs. Powell is now the Acting Supervisor of the same unit, supervising a team of 5. She is happy in her new role as it brings about opportunities for growth, learning how to embrace challenges and allows for professional development. This role comes naturally to Mrs. Powell because of her applicable knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as, being self-motivated, detail oriented and analytical.
Mrs. Powell, despite her wealth of knowledge and experience, has a knack for continued learning; thus, she would like to become more familiar with the Quick Books Accounting Program to become more efficient and proactive in her approach when effecting accounting practices. Therefore, she has started the learning process of same. Mrs. Powell feels rewarded with the opportunities provided to her to learn the different work aspects in various departments, thereby providing support and fostering team efforts in NHC. Her pleasant personality and positive attitude create a splendid working environment for all staff.
