Staff of the Week: Erma Trotman - National Housing Corporation (NHC)

Ms. Erma Trotman has been employed at NHC for 20 years and is one of the few persons who have been here for this length of time. She was initially employed in Administration and subsequently the Technical department. Ms. Trotman is now a Purchasing Clerk in the Procurement and Inventory Department, preparing purchase orders to our suppliers, among other responsibilities. She is happy in her new role(s) as it is a relatively new department that is now using more efficient programs to effect a smoother purchasing transition. This role is seamless to Ms. Trotman given that she has already established a rapport with suppliers and Clients. Ms. Trotman brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and experience to her new role. Her willingness to learn new things and her adaptability to change make her an outstanding employee. What is most rewarding to her as an employee of NHC is seeing staff learn and adjust, coupled with her contribution in embracing the NHC motto, ‘Raising Standards’.

Ms. Trotman would like to continue to learn, grow and excel in the Corporation while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
