Ms. Helena Charles is the Featured Staff of the Week. Ms. Charles has been employed at NHC for 20 years. Her initial post was Clerk in the Technical Services department. Ms. Charles is now the Supervisor in the Purchasing and Procurement department supervising 2 employees.
Ms. Charles feels comfortable in her role as the most memorable moments for her are the interaction with staff and Clients. The easiest part of her job is client complaint management given that one of her greatest strengths is customer service. Her ability to create a friendly work environment says a lot for her 20 years of service. Ms. Charles is very experienced in her line of work, has an enthusiastic approach to change and has a wealth of knowledge of the Corporation. Ms. Charles’ future plans include becoming a Project Manager at NHC given that she has worked in the Technical and Purchasing departments for 20 years and has learned a lot about the construction industry. She feels rewarded at the end of each day knowing that her Clients are well satisfied.
